Pyrenex

Taking it’s name from the Pyrenees mountain range, fashion brand Pyrenex was founded way back in 1859 by Frenchman Abel Crabos, and was primarily a raw-feather business until 1960, when it branched out into manufacturing down bedding, sleeping bags and clothing. This was actually built on the success of Abel's daughter-in-law Marie who made the first down filled jackets for prisoners during World War II to protect them from the cold. These days Pyrenex is widely known for its luxurious designer outerwear, including lightweight down jackets and performance-oriented snow coats, and can now be found at Cruise Fashion.
